Here it is, a pear tree card that will go the full distance of 10 days.  Any guesses on how high it will go?  I will start the guessing at $1250.

Roz,

I'd be interested to know why you've put it up for sale only 24 hrs after receiving it. I thought you were a collector ?

I'm on the phone to roz, Mark and roz are expecting another pear tree card tomorrow morning, if for some reason the one orderd doesnt come through, then the card on ebay sold will be the #15/30, " but yes CJD i am a collector  Grin" - words from roz  Wink

Also roz said she won't be on till tomorrow morning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*EDIT*
more words from roz...
"If for some reason the peartree card gets lost in the post, i will fulfil the order with card number 15 but as a dedicated collector i am praying it will not come to that"
OK well here's the score... the card on Ebay isn't actually Roz's, it's mine. So unless by some amazing stroke of luck the number on the back is cooler than 15 (ie 30 or 1)  then that that is the one that will be sold (notice I haven't put the number on the auction yet...). I bought mine for quite a lot more than Roz paid for hers ( Sad ) but let's be fair she got it at quite a good price ( Smiley )
Anyway with any luck we'll make it all back and with enough profit for a few cups of tea Wink You don't know what Roz costs me in tea.....  That's the plan anyway...  Grin
Right -  charming! I'll bring my own teabags in future  Undecided
Any news of it's arrival yet?
I hope you don't get import taxed... and if you do that it's straight away!
First off I am looking forward to 2 things; seeing what this goes for as it will give us all an idea of what they are worth (though it's got a long way to go yet before Mark breaks even) and also to see how many people click through from that link to this site; I think Mark will be able to tell us that from his weblogs... I am not sure!
Think very carefully Ben - like me it will mean you cannot buy any of the more freely available prop cards etc for some time...
so you have a choice, one rare or many slightly less rare cards!
What I want to know is how many there are in the "collectors" domain; we know so far of 3 in our handses and one in the post!
Anyone else want to come forward as owning one?
 Huh Shocked
We have Gimli Syndrome!
Mark's card is somewhere at his office - delivery confirmed... now he just has to find it!
 Huh
Then we can add the number to the auction and some better pictures  Embarrassed
Hope it's safe!
Eeek! Makes the stress waiting for those LOTR cards seem like a pittance now doesn't it? Unless it were a FOTR Merry, I guess. Hope it turns up asap
Phew - keep breathing - that's the key!
IT HAS BEEN FOUND - the card had gone to the wrong floor in Mark's office!
Right it's card number 18 of 30 and pictures will be on the auction just after hometime tonight - 7.30 to 8 ish?
I take it you scanned it in a protective holder Mark? And that all that dust is on the scanner bed and not on the card!  Undecided
