hey, remember the dumbledore wizard card thingey with the greenscreen on it??? well, it has a bid at $399.99 usd, now i kinda doubt its authenticity from warner bros because they have NEVER sold potter props at all, and if they had, this would be one of the few worth thousands of dollars, and it has a "Whiz-Bang" certificate of authenticity with it?!?!, now who has even heard of them???

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=60360&item=3849050552&rd=1

$399usd, that could buy you.....any of these combinations of cards... 4 hermione sweaters, 1 ron weasley, 2 potter UK incentives, 2 daily prophets, 2 permission forms, 16 george weasley costumes, or even a emma watson auto, or possibly a sirius auto,

I actually really like this card.

Though if it is fake I do not wish to pay $400 for it - actually I don't think I want to pay that much for it anyway!

This whole issue leads us back to why most of us collect cards anyway, which is essentially for peace of mind on authenticity. How many rants have we had both on this forum and back on the topps forum about *signed* LOTR posters?

Props are even worse! I would like the idea of owning a real prop like this one but I'll stick to my swatch of prop/costume for now

i wouldnt pay for it but the man who owns/runs showmasters events (Collectormania and London filma nd comi con) has 2 of these in his living room which i have 'touched'  Shocked They are exactally the same as those seen in the ebay auction and this man would never pay out for fakes, he has many original props from star wars and Lord of the rings HP and loads of other films and i doubt he would buy a fake  Undecided
