Personally I think it's a good buy!

I am not sure I'd open the boxes though, I did a tally on box content once and I think you'd be best selling the boxes sealed!

But if you DO open the boxes, let me know if you get a pink Hermione card Wink

I think you've got that for a good price. Last time I saw a case go in the UK on Ebay was for £999  Shocked Shocked

I reckon as the update set takes off the demand for the original set will increase with newcomers to the series trying to complete their sets.

Its a good price at todays prices.

And it will be even better after the second set hits which is more interesting  but not as rare as the first. Therefore it will pull in more collectors who will want the first set.

nice... too early in the morning here for me to bid on it. I think you got it for a fair price... sell by the box and you can make a few hundred. USD. also funny that RNS mentioned the pink hermione card... i just opened two box of the original series and pulled one 3 secs after reading the post. LOL.   two boxes... 1 pink sweater #99/450, george wealsey costume card 581/1300, hp black robe 604/750, and a neville auto. I have two boxes here... not sure if i should open them or not. hmmmm.

Is anyone else noticing the tumbling box price for the first set? Has anyone tracked the prices at all?

It just seems that way to me.

Do you think it will pick up in the future or do you think they peaked at £100?

evrosidds:  Nice pulls.  I also wanted the neville auto so I am a little jealous here.  I must admit, I did get a Hermione pink sweater card.  I got it really cheap because it is damaged (has a nice crease on the front of it, possible due from production), but I am still happy just to have the card.
